Formation of students historical thinking as a factor of successful implementation of modern standards of historical education

This article deals with the problem of forming historical thinking of students in the process of implementing the standards of historical education. Disadvantages of educational and methodological complexes, insufficient development of methods for using the operational side of the content of historical education do not allow to implement the tasks defined by the Federal state educational system. At the same time, historical thinking is the basis for understanding modern social phenomena and allows students to adequately perceive the surrounding reality, adapt to the conditions of specific historical circumstances, and successfully pass the process of socialization.
