The influence of special training of the vestibular analyzer on the motor functions of young gymnasts

This article discusses the impact of special training of the vestibular analyzer on the motor functions of young gymnasts. The aim of this work is to determine the effect of special vestibular training on motor functions — on the accuracy of differentiation of movement according to its main characteristics (temporal, power and spatial), on the manifestation of the qualities of motor activity (dexterity, speed and strength), on the formation of some motor skills. We came to the conclusion that between the degree of stability of the vestibular analyzer and the quality of performing complex gymnastic exercises saturated with angular accelerations, a direct relationship is found. Gymnasts with high stability of the vestibular analyzer perform complex turns in rhythmic gymnastics more qualitatively and include them several times in their arbitrary exercises without objects. Therefore, poor-quality execution of complex turns is observed in athletes with low vestibular stability. These gymnasts saturate their arbitrary combinations mainly with elements of a different nature.
