Achievement motivation in students with different innovative potential

Abstract
The research of the motivational sphere of the subjects of innovative activity is extremely relevant. The article presents the results of diagnosing the achievement motivation of students of technical profile with different innovative potential of a personality. As a result of research, it is established that the achievement motivation, as the dominance of sustainable motives for success, is that internal resource of innovative potential of a personality, which leads to the realization of own potentials, abilities, opportunities in innovative activity. It is found that achievement motivation has different levels of formation in certain groups of students. The highest indicators of achievement motivation at a high level were found in innovators and the lowest in conservatives. The average value of achievement motivation of actualized and potential innovators corresponds to the parameters of the average level. It has been empirically established that many factors influence the level of manifestation and peculiarities of achievement motivation in each of the identified groups of subjects. The achievement motivation in all students of the technical profile is, to a greater extent, conditioned by the conscious self-regulation of arbitrary activity, which is manifested in the ability to plan, think of their own actions and behavior, and evaluate significant external and internal circumstances in order to achieve the set goals. However, the nature of the statistically significant relationship of achievement motivation with empirical indices of the innovative potential of a personality showed that high level of achievement motivation in conservatives is conditioned caution, discretion, rigidity, a focus on stability rather than riskiness that sets them apart from other groups of subjects.
