Abstract

The process of psychological separation occurs throughout the life course of the individual and is an extremely important component of the development of each person. Psychological separation in the context of this study is considered as separation from people, but the process of development of subjectivity, the formation of their identity in close interaction with other people. The basis of subjective understanding of personality is the assertion that a person is an active creator of his own mental reality. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of key characteristics, mechanisms, determinants of subjectivity. Problems of psychological separation and subjectivity belong to one area of research, so there are possible semantic intersections in understanding the stages of development of subjectivity and separation of personality. Special emphasis is placed on the fact that each person comes into the world as a potential subject, which during the social life is called to actualize all the subjective power embedded in it, overcoming «objectivity», ie its total dependence on external conditions, circumstances, people. The basic stages of development of subjectivity through the prism of psychological separation of personality are made. The ability to form one's point of view on the situation, the ability to reason with one's position, the ability to disagree with a thought are the main external manifestations of the internal separation of the individual. The stage of contradictory personality highlights the complexity of the teenager's separation process. The main asset at the stage of full-fledged subjectivity is the ability of the individual to overcome life's difficulties independently, to regulate their relations with loved ones, to live in harmony with them without mutual image and tension. In the stages of full and embodied subjectivity, the personal potential is updated. Autonomy and self-sufficiency are achieved through the formation of one's own personality in the process of communicating with significant others. At the stage of subjectivity, which is extinguished, there are exacerbated problems of internal separation that are manifested in dedifferentiation and disintegration. It is shown that the development of subjectivity is one of the factors of internal and external separation of personality.
