Commitment to professional ethical standards in the Algerian online press - an analytical study of Echorouk Online

Modern technology of communication and due to the wide expansion of internet has permitted to the appearance and progress of electronic press as such many newspapers have launched platforms and websites that encouraged both writing and editing within a great freedom not allocated to the traditional press. The following article attemps to relate the experience of Echourouk online; an Algerian electronic paper that took advantage of technology abundance yet it still faces challenges to stick to professional standards like objectivity, accuracy and credibility while covering certain national and international events.
