Abstract
This article presents a general review of the incursion of the science of artificial intelligence in the identification of the gestures of the upper limb, presents an overview focused on recent advances in research, new mechanisms of signal acquisition (myoelectric and encephalographic) and the extraction of characteristics from signs. It is determined that there is a need for further application of this science in the field of feature extraction from bioelectrical signal
