CONCEPT OF OWNERSHIP IN THE HISTORICAL ASPECT

The article analyzes at the conceptual level the concept of “property right” in a historical aspect from the time of Ancient Rome to the present day. The article highlights the most important stages in the formation and development of the category of “property rights” in the history of legal science. The authors describe the dual nature of property rights. The subjective and objective meaning of the concept of “property right” as a legal category is highlighted, attention is drawn to a modern understanding of property rights
