Abstract
The paper considers the structural and sematic peculiarities of the use of interjectional units presenting complexes with an adjective as one of their components (adjective-including interjections) in literary monologues using the material from the works of British and American writers of the second half of the 20th century. According to their structure, interjectional phraseomes (interjections in the form of a phrase) and interjectional proposeomes (interjections in the form of a sentence) are distinguished.
