Abstract

Asian College of Technology – Bulacao is a Multiple Intelligences (MI) school. It is just but equitable that the students shall receive MI awards. These awards started as MI Wizards in 2015 then, a year later it was dubbed as the MI Awards. The latter went on for four school years. The system of the said awards was anchored on the goal of giving recognition to students who have displayed their multiple intelligences through their affiliation in school activities. On the first three years, the students' participation in school activities was tallied and whoever gets to the top rank gets the award. On the fourth year, the point system was based on the Department of Education's point system for “Extracurricular Activities” and that time the awarding has already been the top 10 per level. This year, the school wants to break the MI Awards into the eight facets (verballinguistic, logical-mathematical, bodily kinesthetic, visual-spatial, musical-rhythmic, intrapersonal, interpersonal, naturalistic and) based on Howard Gardner's theory thus the birth of the new MI Awards tally form. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of the proposed MI Awards tally form in accordance with the awardees' MI test results.
