CODIFICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL LEGISLATION AS A WAY OF ADAPTING IT TO EU REQUIREMENTS

Abstract
We believe that the current state of environmental legislation of Ukraine during the period of its reform to the requirements of international requires that Ukraine took over, which are provided in Association between Ukraine and the European Union. The example of Sweden explores the possibility of codification relating to the legal framework of environmental law as a means of modernization and adaptation to the law of European countries. To achieve this goal, the authors considered the views of scientists on the adoption of the Ecological Code of Ukraine and concluded that codification is advisable and effective to systematize and adapt environmental legislation to EU requirements.
