ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE ENTERPRISE: THE ESSENCE OF THE CONCEPT AND SYSTEMATIZATION OF APPROACHES TO INTERPRETATION

This article is devoted to a theoretical study of the approaches of domestic and foreign scientists to determine the essence of the concept of economic security of an enterprise. A generalization of the research results of scientists allowed us to conclude that there are various approaches (protective, resource, harmonization, etc.) to determining the economic security of an enterprise, which ensures the multidimensionality and versatility of research and at the same time complicates the processes of its study and assessment. It is concluded that ensuring economic security of an enterprise implies, first of all, effective counteraction to internal and external threats, and the economic security management system should be “integrated” into the enterprise management system.
