ADAPTATION OF THE LABOR LEGISLATION OF UKRAINE TO THE INTERNATIONAL STANDARTS OF EUROPEAN UNION

The article is dedicated to the highlighting of peculiarities of the process of adaptation of the labor legislation of Ukraine to the legislation of the European Union (hereinafter - the EU). The general description of the concept and content of the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the EU international standards is provided. The main EU sources in the area of regulating labor relations are identified and the principles on which European labor law is based are revealed. The shortcomings of the Ukrainian legislation in this area are examined, the existing achievements of reputable scientists, in particular that relate to the implementation of the existing successful EU principles at the national level are presented. Also the proposals that relate to the development and improvement of legal support in the area of labor under the influence of European labor standards are provided.
