Abstract
Competition is one of the key concepts that define market relations. The effectiveness of economic entities directly depends on competition, therefore the topic of unfair competition today is relevant. This article describes unfair advertising as the form of unfair competition, addresses problematic issues of using it as a main tool in competition between economic subjects, defines main principles and prohibitions in the law as well as legal grounds of the unfair advertising and its origin.
