COOPERATION OF UKRAINE AND EU IN THE ENERGY SECTOR

The issue of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union in the field of energy is investigated. The issues of adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine to the EU Acquis in the energy sphere are analyzed. It is noted that, in line with the objectives of the EU, it is important to ensure a transition to sustainable energy alternatives. The practical indicators according to which it is possible to see that the energy sector is one of the key spheres of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU are analyzed. It is noted that the cornerstone in the development of a common policy in the energy sector is, first of all, high-quality cooperation within the Energy Community. In this regard, the lion's share of Ukrainian companies and associations are members of European professional networks, thanks to which there is a qualitative reform and improvement of the energy sector at the national level. The emphasis is placed on the fact that in this area the European Union sets the priority precisely the introduction of an open market for cooperation between European states, as well as ensuring the security of energy supply.
