Abstract

The article reveals the results of theoretical grounding of the psychological and pedagogical conditions of the professional thinking development of the future border guard officers in the higher military educational institution. The peculiarities of these conditions creating have been revealed while taking into concideration the results of the psychological analysis of the border guard officers professional activity and the specifics of the problem-solving, the features of the problem-based learning and the psychological learning mechanisms. Psychological and pedagogical principles of the professional thinking are the following methodological approaches, principles, functions, learning components, psychological thinking strategies, forms and psychological learning mechanisms. The following main methodological approaches have been identified: the activity, competence, cognitive and systemic. The Psychological and pedagogical conditions promote the proper professional thinking development of future border guard officers while the problem-solveing in order protect and defend the state border of Ukraine in the physical stress conditions while taking the right decisions in the real-time processing.
