CONTENT OF THE ACQUIS COMMUNAUTAIRE CONCEPT AND FEATURES OF APPLICATION OF THIS CONCEPT IN UKRAINE

The article is devoted to theoretical aspects and practical problems of adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to European Union standards, in particular, the concept of acquis communautaire is analyzed, the main approaches to understanding the scope and content of this concept are identified. Considering the importance of approximating national legislation to the legislation of the European Union, the author discloses the concept of adaptation of the national legislation of the candidate countries for accession to the European Union. At the same time, attention is paid to the problems that are characteristic of this process.
