Abstract
Nanofluid is a mixture of nanoparticles & fluid having particle size about 1nm to 100nm. It has great capacity of transfer heat. In various industrial processes heating & cooling is general part of processes. So nanofluids will have vital role in various heat transfer application. Preparation of nanofluid involves controlling of various parameters like particle concentration, material, base fluid, particle size, shape, temperature & clustering. Various studies related to above parameter reviewed and its impact on thermal conductivity is studied in this article. From reviewed studies it is seen that some researchers achieved about 160 % enhancement in conductivity. Also some studies put some contradictory reading
