Abstract

In the article the problem of linguistic processes in the Uzbek language of the Jadid period is focused on. In it, the author analyzes the reasons for the use of the elements of "Western Turkic language" in the Uzbek press and fiction of this period in detail and tries to scientifically prove them from a linguistic view point. Atti- tude towards language, linguistic views, formation of a literary language, normalization of language, attitude towards language, linguistic features, relations with other languages, language learning, multilingualism, inter- personal interaction, their ability to use language skills became more serious over the years of independence. Dozens of researchers, such as S. Bobomurodov, Yu. Saidov, Kh. Uzakov, T. Togaev, L. Djalalova, Z. Choriev, Kh. Kadirova, S. Normamatov, studied these problems. The formation of the Uzbek language has a long history and can be divided into two periods: 1) the period of Alisher Navoi (from the beginning to the beginning of sepa- ration from the common public); 2) Alisher Navoi and the subsequent period (XVI–XVIII centuries)
