Abstract
The deviation in frequency in power system due to gap between generation and load demand. The load frequency control problem is a serious issue in deregulated power system. This paper presents design of Fractional Order ANN (FOANN) controller for load frequency control of multi area Solar-Thermal Power Plant (STPP) and EVs integrated power system in deregulated environment. In this proposed work a three area power system considered in deregulated environment. The EVs are integrated to maintain balance between generation and load in each control area. In a multi area power system control area-1 with Solar-Thermal Power Plant (STPP), control area-2 with thermal-gas turbine plant combination and control area-3 with STPP- thermal power plants. The each control area integrated with EVs. The performance of FOANN controller tested on multi source and EVs integrated deregulated power system by considering bilateral contacts.
