Abstract
Tooth avulsion is defined as complete displacement of a tooth from the alveolar socket. In avulsion injuries; many tissues such as dental pulp, gingiva, periodontal fibers, alveolar bone and cement are affected together. The prognosis of the replanted tooth depends on several factors. The most important of these are time spent by the avulsed tooth outside of the mouth and the storage media. As well as, the long-term prognosis of avulsed permanent tooth is still controversial, the most common complication is root resorption. In this case report, a replantation technique which was performed on a 12-year-old male patient who consulted to our clinic one hour after his right upper central tooth was avulsed as a result of a traumatic injury is presented.
