Abstract
The article is devoted to polyaspectual notion life is outlined to be the notional dominant in conceptual categorical listing of scientific and lingvocultural fragment of Russian linguistic world picture; cognitive semiotic mechanisms that formalize concept life in Russian lingvocultural space are viewed; axiological, associative and descriptive, symbolic, lexicosemantic and pragmatic features of the verbal presentation of notional sphere life in cultural area and mentality of native speakers are analyzed. Correlating terms such as notion, meaning, presentation, association, cultural dominant and concept are contrasted and interpreted
