Abstract
This article discusses the identification of sub-signs that refine the main semantic lines of verb differentiation in Russian language. As a result of the analysis, information was obtained about the existence of different types of semantic sub-signs that convey information about the pace of movement, the size of steps, the presence or absence of a goal, physical disabilities, etc. The object of this article are verbs of movement in Russian language, reflecting the movement of the subject on the ground. The material of the study was selected from the syntactic dictionary LG. Babenko, which is a fundamentally new lexicographic publication, since for the first time in Russian lexicography semantic models of Russian verbal sentences are systematized, reflecting all the typical situations of the process-event world: situations of action, concrete physical and social activities, states, attitudes and life. As a source of linguistic material we also engaged in explanatory dictionaries of AP Evgenieva, S. I Ozhegov, D. N. Ushakov, T. F. Efremova. Contextual analysis was conducted on the basis of authentic contexts derived from the information system “National Corpus of the Russian Language”
