PROBLEMS OF MANAGING BUSINESS PROCESSES IN THE ENGINEERING INDUSTRY

The article improves the classification of business processes in the engineering industry. The concept of a business process is complemented by end-to-end, intercompany, and interfunctional business processes based on customer-oriented chains in mechanical engineering. The definition “business process management in the machine-building industry” was further developed. A differential-econometric model is proposed for predicting the volume of product sales, the cost of fixed assets and labor costs, both at individual engineering enterprises and in the industry as a whole.
