DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN THE MODERN FAMILY

This scholarly article describes the current issues surrounding helping women experiencing domestic violence, as well as exploring the definition of domestic violence. Domestic violence is considered to be an important issue in every country where this issue is being studied. It has been stated that physical violence is closely linked to sexual, but the more severe the form of sexual abuse, the stronger this connection is. It is concluded that further area of study is the development of methods and programs for working with women who are experiencing domestic violence. Violence negatively affects the formation of a woman as a person, her consciousness and physical activity, suppresses and contributes to her removal from society. So, exploring this problem, we analyzed the main constitutional and legal sources, as well as statistical data of foreign countries and Ukraine to determine what measures of protection for such women are enshrined in legislation. Since the issue of domestic violence is quite common, it requires immediate attention and solutions. Among which, we believe, the following will be effective: the creation of new organizations for protection against domestic violence, the disclosure of this problem in society, the improvement of legislation on this issue, the fixing of the sequence of actions for people to find the way out of domestic violence, and, starting from childhood, the formation of respect for every person. In terms of Constitutional Law, this protection is manifested in the totality of articles that are enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine. Violence, both in physical, sexual and psychological manifestations, is a destructive phenomenon for any person. Domestic violence is a topic worth talking about and it should be discussed because so many women around the world are victims of various manifestations of violence, which we have studied in detail in our scientific article.
