Abstract

This article presents the characteristics of Pseint a pseudocode interpreter that allows programming through instructions in Spanish language, it evaluates the characteristics of control structures and logic that may resemble high-level languages. Among the characteristics, the identification, color in the instructions, profile configuration, auto-completion and its installation are analyzed, allowing to know if it can be used as an initial tool in the generalized teaching of programming languages. Also an evaluation is made.
