Abstract
This article discusses the formation of the intellectual property (IP) market, taking into account the features of the specified product in the framework of its valuation. The concepts of valuation of intellectual property are analyzed, which are based on a number of general principles, which are the theoretical foundation for isolating methods of valuation of intellectual property. The main pricing factors are established that reflect the specifics of price formation for intellectual property objects together with factors that are determined by the specifics of IP objects as goods, affecting supply and demand for IP objects and, accordingly, its price.
