Condition of Primary Schools in Terms of Informational Social Support and Parents’ Needs for Informational Assistance (Province Case of Manavgat)

Abstract
This research aims to explore the condition of public primary schools in Manavgat, Antalya in terms of informational social support care and the learning needs of parents about this issue. The universe of this research that is in screen model comprises public primary schools in Manavgat. The study uses stratified sampling by collecting data from parents. In data analysis, frequency, percentage and chi square techniques were used. It is identified that a majority of parents provide informational support to their children. However, the findings indicate that the number of parents that do not give enough support to their children and the parents that do not give any support to their children are in need of assistance in terms of learning how to provide social support.
