Organization of occupational safety during the productive practice of students in higher education institutions

On research and statistic data the authors of the article have drawn attention to the dominant values of today's youth: health preservation and getting a decent education. One of the priority tasks of education should be to preserve and improve health of the educational process participants, create safe and harmless conditions for successful learning and is responsible for creating safe conditions for the educational process. It has been emphasized that practical training of future specialists is an important component of the educational process. Practice is a mandatory part of the curriculum. The purpose of productive practice type is to expand, deepen and consolidate the theoretical knowledge that students gain while studying the cycle of special theoretical disciplines and to develop skills of practical application. Productive practice differs in terms of duration and location. As a rule, it takes place at industrial enterprises, having different structure and rules in comparison to educational institutions. The main focus of the article is occupational safety during the students' productive practice. Managers of enterprises, institutions and organizations are obliged to ensure the creation of appropriate conditions, according to the rules and regulations of labour protection, safety and industrial sanitation by law. After theoretical analysis of the problem, the organization of the student's occupational safety before and during the course has been investigated. It has been stated that every educational institution has instructions for occupational safety of students sent to enterprises. The basic measures of the student's occupational safety during the course of productive practice have been summarized and substantiated: introduction to workplace training, workplace initial training at the enterprise, etc. It has been determined that the process of organizing and conducting productive practice takes place in accordance with basic normative documents, instructions and regulations, which is a guarantee of preserving life and health of students while studying in higher education institutions.
