To the problem of professional competence of future primary school teacher

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate of the essence of cultural competence of future primary school teachers. Research methodology: study and analysis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical and cultural literature on the problem under research in order to theoretically summarize the key points. Analysis of the works of national and foreign scientists on the problem of research has made it possible to determine competence as an attribute of professionalism of a future specialist. It has been found out that purposeful acquisition of knowledge, skills in the field of pedagogical education by students, their transformation into competence promotes personal cultural growth, development of educational technologies, ability to respond quickly to the requests of the time. It has been characterized the leading positions of the researchers on the phenomenon of "professional competence" and the criteria of competence of primary school teachers. The authors of the article have noted that a high level of education in various fields of scientific knowledge and a high level of professional skills have been required for a competent primary school teacher to be competent. Тhe authors have define the conception of "professional competence of the future primary school teacher" as an integral characteristic of business and personal qualities, which reflects the level of motivation, knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to carry out pedagogical activity. The formation of professional competence of a future primary school teacher has been understood as a purposeful process that is carried out on the basis of certain conditions, using appropriate developing technologies and the predictable result of the development of professional and personal skills. The study materials can be used in the professional training of future primary school teachers.
