About the results of the experimental verification of the program for the development of professional thinking of future border guards

Abstract
The article reveals the experimentally verified program results on the future border guard officers professional thinking development. The respondents were the 3rd year cadets of the Bohdan Khmelnitsky National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The cadets were divided into two groups - the experimental and control. The diagnostic research by the defined criteria (cognitive, need-motivational and operational ones) and levels (high, middle and low ones) has been carried out. The results of the study at the beginning of the experiment (2015-2016 academic year) have testified to the problems of the future border guard's professional thinking development and confirmed the absence of the significant difference in the status of groups by the defined levels and criteria. The groups were verified by Pearson's statistical criteria. Then, the outside influence on the experimental groups was made by the worked out complex of author's program for the cadets' professional thinking development. The developed program for the future border guard officers' professional thinking development is based on the conceptual principals managed by Y.I. Mashbits. While working out the program we took into our consideration: 1) the results of the Ukrainian and foreign scientists' viewpoints on the essence of the concept "professional thinking" 2) the results of psychological analysis of the professional border guard officers professional activities. The obtained statistically Pearson criteria empirical data are high, which have indicated the significant differences between the respondents of the control and experimental levels of the professional thinking criteria. The results for all the groups have testified the positive changes (at least 95%) in the formation of the relevant components of professional thinking. The empirical data have been calculated by using the Microsoft EXCEL software and proved the effectiveness of the developed authors' program of future border guard officers' professional thinking development.
