Psychological vectors of stress prevention and prevention of maladaptive states

Abstract
The issue of stress effect in emergency circumstances has been highlighted in the article. A natural consequence of stress is a decrease in productivity, impaired mental and physical health. It has been noted that the negative impact can be so intense and strong that it can cause various forms of disadaptation, neuropsychiatric and psychosomatic disorders, post-traumatic stress. The purpose of the article is to highlight theoretically the concept of stress, to outline the resources of stress resistance of the individual, and the general patterns of stress prevention and quality of life. Such research methods as theoretical analysis and systematization of scientific-theoretical and methodological sources have been used. The article emphasizes the idea that stress is an integral part of our lives and a stressless existence is impossible. Considering, that stress is an integrative characteristic of the individual, which provides the ability to social adaptation, maintaining meaningful interpersonal relationships, successful self-realization, achieving important goals, maintaining efficiency and health, it is logical to develop it. The development of stress resistance is one of the basic components of the emotional competence formation. Internal resources consist of personal, behavioral, physical resources and lifestyle. External resources of stress resistance include: social support (emotional, material, information); institutions of social support; state; organization; family; friends. A special category of stress-resistance resources are strategies and patterns of behavior, so-called coping strategies. The nature and ways of opposition to stressful situations depend on the life position, activity of the individual, on his needs for self-realization of their potentials and abilities. The authors note the expediency of drawing attention to the general patterns and vectors of stress prevention. In order to prevent the impact of the negative stress effects and increase own stress resistance, a person must have a conscious approach to health and follow a number of psychological recommendations. Prospect for further research is to find the leading methods of developing stress resistance, in particular in future psychologists.
