Formation of readiness of future teachers to self-education activity

Abstract

The essence of the concepts of "readiness", "readiness for self-education" has been defined in the article. The approaches of readiness formation of future educators to self-education activity have been revealed, components in the structure of preparedness of educators for independent work have been analyzed. In readiness for self-education, we understand the state of the subject of self-education, which is characterized as a positive attitude toward self-education, and the practical mastery of this process. Readiness for self-education can be described structurally (cognitive, personal, operational and active components) and level (high, average, low level of readiness for self-education). Considering the readiness for self-education in the modern information environment as an integral measure of the formation of generalized characteristics of the individual (awareness, consciousness, efficiency and ability), the success of which depends on the success of the formation of each components, it is necessary to highlight the possibility of a coherent action by teachers whose purpose is not formation of "Completed specialist", and the development of its ability to continuous independent acquisition of information, stimulation of creativity and especially creative thinking. Thus, the successful formation of readiness for self-education of future educators of SPE is possible under the following conditions: the orientation of the educational process in universities to the development of the culture of self-education of students, taking into account the peculiarities of this process and its components, the formation of the desire and ability of future educators to satisfy their cognitive needs and interests through self-education, organization of educational interaction of students and teachers on the basis of subject-subject approach, activation of cognitive activity of students through the application of problem goals of learning, independent learning capacity and provision of professional orientation tasks.
