Abilities of the use of technologies of augmented reality in informational and educational environment of higher educational establishment

Abstract

Technologies of augmented reality allow you to obtain the necessary information about the environment and improve the perception of information. Using the technologies of augmented reality in the information and educational environment of the university will provide additional tools for improving the quality of education. Using appropriate tools, which include the augmented reality platform Vuforia, ARToolKit, Kudan will provide teachers with the necessary tools for creating curriculum augmented reality. It has now become apparent that the technological interpretation of the supplemented reality is too narrow, complemented by reality - not just a new technology, but an unprecedented environment of human existence, which would require a theoretical understanding and forecasting prospects for its use. In addition to the foregoing, one can formulate the concept of complemented reality in the following form, complemented by reality is the result of input in the field of perception of any sensory data in order to supplement the information about the environment and improve the perception of information; perceived mixed reality, created using the elements of the perception of reality, complemented with the help of a computer. It should be noted that today in the domestic pedagogical discourse the problems of the use of the complementary reality are practically not presented, which also determines the relevance of our appeal to it. It should be noted that in this problem can be distinguished two aspects. Technologies of augmented reality in education are at the stage of their formation, and, given the prospects for their development, it is necessary to conduct both an analysis of foreign experience and put educational experiments with augmented reality in domestic schools and universities.
