Features of the professional training of future specialists in the national educational system of the Principality of Liechtenstein

Abstract
The article examines and analyzes the education system of the Principality of Liechtenstein and defines the directions of future skilled workers` vocational education and training within the national education system. The scientific research of the institutional structure of vocational education and training was undertaken and, as a result, a limited number of education institutions of secondary vocational and higher education, as well as a poor diverse of narrow-profile specialties and the absence of specific areas of vocational training were identified. Nevertheless, Liechtenstein`s system of vocational education and training implements its goals and objectives closely cooperating with other European countries, mainly German-speaking countries. Besides, the research allows to formulate certain characteristics of Liechtenstein`s vocational education and training system, concerning a flexible process of changing the education institutions at a certain educational level, facilitating entry to higher education institutions, reducing of students` academic load during the extracurricular time, providing additional opportunities for personal and professional growth and state support for getting education abroad. Despite the advantages of vocational education and training, some challenges were also identified in the research. The problems concern the inactive cooperation of Liechtenstein`s universities with the world's education institutions in the field of vocational training, the lack of practical training at the enterprises and the absence of a practical training abroad, as well as the inactive participation of industrial enterprises, companies and trade organizations in the process of professional development of future skilled workers. Nevertheless, the experience of the future skilled workers' vocational education and training in Liechtenstein is important not only for scientific analysis, but also for implementation in the national educational system. The proven system of cooperation with neighboring countries using their scientific and creative potential in order to prepare highly skilled workers for national entrepreneurial activity is of great value. The experience of organizing vocational education and training in educational institutions of Liechtenstein is distinctive, practically oriented and deserves extrapolation into Ukrainian system of vocational education and training.
