Some aspects of investigation of the problem of self-actualization of the personality

Abstract
The article is analyzing scientific approaches to the study of the problem of self-actualization of personality in foreign and native psychology. The article generalizes the concept of self-actualization of the personality, specifies its features within the framework of humanistic theories of personality. The views of native scientists on the problem of self-actualization of the personality have been highlighted. The characteristics of the self-actualized personality have been specified. It has been emphasized that modern researchers view the self-actualized personality as an individual with developed subjectivity, ability to express themselves, an active subject of their own vital activity, creativity, the builder of their unique life world. The most comprehensive one can be considered an integration approach to the definition of self-actualization as a set of systemic qualities that contribute to the disclosure of the internal potential of the individual during his individualization. It has been emphasized that the process of self-actualization of the individual is an internally determined process. It has been specified that the process of self-actualization of the personality is considered by modern scientists in close connection with the processes of self-realization, self-development, self-actualization is an indicator of completeness of self-realization of personality. It has been determined that the self-actualization of the personality indicates the degree of development of self-awareness, the level of orientation in life and social situations, the presence of potential and real opportunities for the individual's self-fulfillment, the level of organizational and volitional maturity in managing life circumstances and overcoming life difficulties. Self-actualization encompasses the comprehensive and continuous development of a person's creative and spiritual potential, maximizing the realization of his or her abilities, adequate perception of the world and its place in it, wealth of emotional and spiritual life, high level of physical health and morality. Self-actualization ensures the authenticity and integrity of the individual because of disclosure, awareness and integration of different individual sides. Successful self-actualization stimulates diverse development of personality possibilities.
