Genesis of postgraduate education of elementary school teachers in Ukraine

Abstract
The article is devoted to the research of the home country primary school teachers' postgraduate education development during second half of XІX century – beginning of XXI century. The article refers to the preconditions of the formation and development of postgraduate education teachers in the first period of its forms, from the ХІХ to the early ХХІ century, characterized by key milestones in this process, analyze trends and features of the educational institutions to improve the skills of primary school teachers in this period. It has been revealed that the postgraduate education formation at the territory of Ukraine conventionally covers the period starts with ideas about teachers' professional development origins; search and appearance of the teachers' professional initial forms growth leading to the favorable conditions for teachers' postgraduate education development (till 1947). The Ukrainian primary school teachers' postgraduate education development stages and periodization have been grounded and characterized for the mentioned above period. Working out division into the periods of development of postgraduate education of teachers of primary forms in Ukraine, we took into account divisions into the periods of pedagogical thought Ukraine of O.Suchomlins'ka, of Ukrainian pedagogical science of O.Adamenko, of reforming of school education in Ukraine of the XX-th century of L. Berezivs'ka, of development of Ukrainian pedagogical press S. Loboda, where it was determined the main tendencies of development of education on the base of analysis of pedagogical conceptions, views of prominent Ukrainian pedagogues and outstanding figures of education of the mentioned period. The reason of changes of every of offered periods that were caused by definite internal peculiarities of activity of mentioned systems was conditioned by positive and negative tendencies of development of postgraduate education of teachers of primary forms in Ukraine. Their definition and taking into account in projecting, renovation and further development of content of postgraduate pedagogical education of professionals will permit to guarantee state and society by highly skilled personnel, which corresponds to contemporary demands and tries to have creative professional and individual perfection.
