Peculiarities of training of specialists of light industry in higher institution of Czech Republic and Slovakia on the modern stage

Abstract

The article deals with the educational activities of higher educational institutions of the Czech Republic and Slovakia, which train specialists for branch of light industries. Specifically in the Czech Republic preparing the above-mentioned professionals is performed in the textile department of Technical University in Liberec. In the Slovakia Republic such training is carried out in two educational institutions: the Faculty of Industrial Technology at the Trenchynskii University named after Alexander Dubachek and textile design department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. Training of specialists in public higher educational institutions is under accredited programs on academic degrees "Bachelor", "Master", "Doctor". It is determined that each of characterized educational institutions has its own direction oriented on professional training of specialists: Faculty of Textile Technical University in Liberec - management, marketing, quality systems technologies in materials and clothing; Faculty of Industrial Technology in Pushovo at Alexander Dubachek Trenchynskii University - material science, computer technologies in the manufacturing of garments and textiles; Department of Textile Design Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava – fashion design, textile, environment, educational activities in the field of design. In light industry, including the Czech Republic and Slovakia, expect specialists of specialised directions in light industry widely employed professionals of allied industries and professions training are not necessarily performed on narrow specialized faculties and departments of higher educational institutions. Among these can be named the widely spread economic specialization - logistics, marketing and management of light industry; specialists in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering - service machines and devices of the above mentioned industries; specialty IT- technologies and programming - development and implementation of computer-aided design (CAD). Also, significant part of the staff for light industry provides vocational schools, which are in Czech Republic and Slovakia compatinely whith high schools more higher, so in subsequent investigations relevant is the study of this segment of training specialists for the specified industry.
