The role and application of risk management in a commercial bank

The article discusses the use of risk management as a tool for improving the banking risk management system, as well as its main parameters, goals and objectives in a commercial bank. Credit organizations, due to their connection with the economy of the country and the world as a whole, have always been at risk. The main task of risk management is an expert assessment of the bank's potential losses and timely adoption of measures for the subsequent resolution of problems if they arise. The effectiveness of management in a bank and the degree of its insolvency directly depend on the accuracy of risk assessment and, accordingly, the choice of a responce method for different options for its implementation.
