Abstract
The article analyzes the statistics on domestic violence in Ukraine in the period 2017-2020 and focuses on the impact of pandemic challenges on the situation with domestic violence; a review of global practices in response to rising levels of domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic; the barriers faced by victims of domestic violence are analyzed; separate ways of prevention and counteraction to domestic violence are offered.
