Abstract

Turning to the historical aspect of teachers training at the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University, it should be mentioned that the organization of their pedagogical practice at Hlukhiv Teacher Training Institute in the late 19th ‒ early 20th centuries remains undisclosed. Therefore, organizational approaches to practical training of future teachers, defining the aims, tasks and contents of students' pedagogical practice, highlighting the essence of methodical training for lessons conducting and the methods of attracting scientific and pedagogical workers to the practical classes and the practice of defense require clarification.
