Current problems of the foreign policy activity of the state for ensuring national security

Abstract
The article considers topical issues of foreign policy of the state to ensure national security. It is determined that the current state of international relations is characterized by high instability and weakening of the influence of international organizations that must ensure compliance with international law, as well as the mobilization of efforts to overcome global challenges. This highlights the importance of the implementation of the recently adopted strategic documents in Ukraine, which relate to foreign policy and national security. It is established that the topical issues of national security in foreign policy include: unification of international partners in counteracting Russian aggression, changing the general nature of Ukraine's foreign policy from passive to active, intensification of Ukrainian diplomacy in strategically important areas for our country – EU accession and NATO; strengthening the defense capabilities of the state. Some aspects of counteracting Russian aggression and restoring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine as the main priority of foreign policy are considered. Different types of strategic relations of Ukraine with other states are analyzed, the need to focus on priority contacts, to use strategic relations with different partners, taking into account their interest in joint actions, is determined. It is determined that the prospect of Euro-Atlantic integration, which includes such areas as interoperability of forces, reforms envisaged by annual NATO-Ukraine national programs, Ukraine's involvement in the Alliance's activities in various aspects can significantly strengthen Ukraine's participation in NATO-2030 Strategic Concept. Possibilities of Ukraine 's participation in EU – PESCO projects are considered. EI2, the EU's new Strategic Security and Defense Compass initiative, which sets out a long-term action plan to ensure the EU's internal security. Ukraine is included in this project in the circle of partners, which is a confirmation of the intention to joint action to resolve crises and support the protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity of all European countries. The need to emphasize the expansion of the circle of states supporting Ukraine, keeping the Kremlin's armed aggression on the international agenda, bringing the truth about Russian crimes to the world community, using various international mechanisms to counter the aggressor, maintaining and strengthening the sanctions regime of the collective West, attracting Russia to international legal responsibility, etc
