STORYTELLING IN UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE LESSONS: DIDACTIC NOMINATION

Abstract
The article raises an important linguodidactic issues ˗ the features of modern methods of teaching the Ukrainian language, analyzes the information available to teachers about storytelling, identified a number of issues that require the attention of linguodidactics.
In the process of analysis of scientific literature, educational sites and teacher's blogs some issues were identified that need the attention of didactics. In particular, it is noted that numerous «educational» sites aimed at informing teachers about innovations in education, offer multi-vector information about storytelling. Sites/blogs of teachers, methodologists about storytelling offer monotonous information, in particular about types, functions, advantages, purpose of storytelling. Excessive popularization of storytelling and belief in its omnipotence, admiration for it led to the complete disregard of didactic principles: within one publication (even one sentence) storytelling is called a «method» and «reception», «method» and «technique», «method» and «technology».
