E-WASTE MANAGEMENT AND MOUNTING PROBLEM OF COUNTERFEITING: A THREAT TO IPR SECURITY

E-waste is increasing dramatically since the markets that manufacture such products are also expanding rapidly. For example, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) reported a 22 percent increase in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in China alone between 2000 and 2005. The rate of mobile occupancy is increasing around the world, and as a result, the environmental problem of mobile disposal has become a major issue. In this regard, the current study is being carried out in order to analyze the concerns related with E-waste as well as the actions taken by the worldwide community to address the challenges.
