Armenian issue is also, today, the one of the most important issues of Turkish external politics. Especially, today, as a result of activities done by Armenian lobbies for many years many proposals containing Armenian massacres have been accepted in many international parliaments, and those proposals have been waited for to be used as a means of pressure on Turkey in economical and political relationships. Indeed the claims of Armenian massacres during the First World War were probed and the criminals were punished by the Ottoman State with different punishments.
