Abstract
Introduction. Digital technologies affect almost all aspects of person's work and life. It is hardly possible to find a job or life assignment that does not require basic digital skills. The transfer to a digital economy has led to a huge shortage of professionals with the necessary skills to use digital technologies in professional activities. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to analyze the features of the creation and functioning of the digital educational environment of a professional (vocational) education institution. Results. Based on the analysis of existing studies on the use of digital technologies in the educational process, Ukrainian laws and regulations, the authors investigated the concepts of «digital technologies», «digital environment» and «digital educational environment» and outlined the problem of using digital technologies in education and its digitalization. It was determined that the study topic is relevant, but insufficiently studied by modern domestic scientists in the context of creating a digital educational environment in a professional (vocational and technical) education institution. During the analyzing the works of domestic and foreign researchers, the peculiarities of the creation and functioning of the digital educational environment of the institution of professional (vocational and technical) education were characterized. Originality. The authors propose a structure of the professional (vocational and technical)education institution. The functions of the modern digital educational environment for the educational institution were also analyzed, the content of the main functional components of the digital educational environment for the vocational education institution was identified and described. Conclusion.The proposed structure of the digital educational environment of professional (vocational and technical) education will help to improve the educational process, make it intuitive for teachers and students, ensure the implementation of the principle of integrating resources, applications and teaching aids using digital technologies. The contemplation of its functioning in modern institutions of professional (vocational and technical) education was considered on the basis of the conducted study.
