Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the influence of mass media on legal and mass consciousness. In this regard, the purpose of this work is to study issues related to determining the impact of the media on the formation of public consciousness and morality As a result of the study, legal regulation was given and problems of influence jf media on the personality were identified general characteristic of media means of media and were given, the concept of dualistic model of social influence, was given social mature of massive identify. The research of the chosen topic was carried out using the following methods: dialectical; analysis and synthesis; structural and functional; comparative and legal; generalization of the acquired knowledge. The media is a form of information that focuses on the rapid dissemination of information to society. The media cover various means of transmitting information: radio, newspapers and magazines, television, the Internet and others. All media have common features, which include — appeal to the mass audience, the availability of information to the general public and the rapid dissemination of information. The dualistic model of social influence is a model according to which the process of social influence should be considered as a dynamic process that includes normative influence and informative influence. Normative influence is exercised when a person does not want to be different from the group of people in which he is, and therefore, to become a member of the group, he agrees with the internal rules of the group. Informative influence is carried out through the flow of information and passes through the cognitive function. The author concludes that mass media is the main mean of massive propaganda, that applies through information impact on the consciousness. From the point of view of sociology law we can analize and predict how the influence of mass media operates on massive consciousness and legal behavior. Analazing dualistic model of social influence and works of Serge Moscovici we can see that tendency that mass consciousness is regulate easier than one personality Within the framework of this research, we used: the regulatory framework, works of various authors, educational and methodical literature, lectures and articles on this topic.
