VIRTUALIZATION OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS IN THE CONTEXT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

Due to global trends such as digitization and the emergence of information technologies, most sectors of the world economy have undergone radical changes. This has forced companies to seek new competitive business models. With the accelerated pace of development of new information technologies, leadership and competitiveness have become a necessary condition for ensuring sustainable competitive advantage for businesses engaged in international activities. The article examines the features of virtualization of international business in the context of information technology development. Information technologies actively used to enhance the efficiency of conducting international business in modern conditions are analyzed. The state of information technology usage in e-commerce in developed and developing countries is examined. The index of development of information and communication technologies is presented, and the list of market leaders in terms of consumption, production, export and import of information technology is identified. The place of the Ukrainian IT industry in the world is analyzed, and forecasts of its further development are outlined.
