Abstract
The article analyzes some aspects of the development of women's leadership in the Republic of Belarus. The author considers the educational level to be one of the most important factors in ensuring this phenomenon. However, despite their high intellectual and organizational skills, women are less likely than men to be promoted to leadership positions. According to the author, the reason for this state of affairs has deep psychological roots, and overcoming it is an urgent task to ensure full-fledged gender equality.
