Abstract

Introduction. The development of the IT sphere and the successful operation of IT companies depend on the qual‑ ifications of employees, their skills and desire to work productively, therefore the issue of attracting personnel should occupy one of the main positions in the strategy of the development of the IT sphere of Ukraine. Accordingly, in IT companies there is an active need to find new mechanisms, tools and search resources for the professional development of IT recruiters and the attraction of highly qualified specialists. Goal. The main goal of the article is to research the specifics of IT recruiters' activities, in particular the most important com‑ petencies, skills and responsibilities that a specialist in this field should possess, as well as the search for new mechanisms, tools and search resources for the professional development of IT recruiters and the effective selection of candidates for IT companies. Materials and methods. The research materials are: 1) works of domestic authors conducting their scientific and practical re‑ search in the field of HR management and recruiting 2) informative sites of IT companies and sites for searching for IT specialists. In the process of carrying out the research, the following scientific methods were used: theoretical generalization and grouping (to build a scheme of the most important competencies and skills of an IT recruiter); formalization, analysis and synthesis (to build a typical search query for selecting IT candidates by recruiters); logical generalization of results (formulation of conclusions). The results. The article examines the current state of recruitment in IT companies, the main competencies, skills and duties that a specialist in this field should possess, as well as search resources and tools that are actively used to select candidates for IT companies. The peculiarities of the introduction of new mechanisms, tools and search resources for the professional develop‑ ment of IT recruiters and the attraction of highly qualified specialists are analyzed. The most important skills that an IT recruiter should possess are considered and characterized, in particular, selection and evaluation of personnel, copywriting, analysis of the salary market and candidate expectations, knowledge of the basics of mar‑ keting, hiring management, knowledge of the specifics of the IT market and the main IT professions, organization of a meeting, interviews, office testing, feedback, feedback, sourcing skills (Github, Bitbucket, Bihance, Dribbble), onboarding. The advantages of using such search systems and tools by IT recruiters as the X-tray program and making inquiries on the linkedin.com site, as well as other search systems, are substantiated. Prospects. In further research, it is suggested to focus on the onboarding process, which is an integral part of recruiting in IT companies. This will make it possible to improve the mechanism of recruiting and effective involvement of candidates in the IT field.
