Abstract

The article deals with the process of foreign communicative competence forming by means of synchronous and asynchronous studies. The advantages (possibility to study in a comfortable rate and at the most convenient time) and disadvantages (lack of teacher's control, hard self-control in the process in the process of learning) of distance education have been show. The article refers to the problems higher military educational institutions may have. The paper presents different online platform that can be used for synchronous and asynchronous studies.
